Thirty-three days until Earth Day.
No! This is not your obligatory Talk-About-Your-Spring-Break journal entry. However, now that you mentioned my Spring Break, it was lovely, thank you. Honestly, I enjoyed every last bleeding second of it. The weather was gorgeous, and I swear, I don't think I've laughed that much in my entire life. We definitely have some stories to tell, and I frankly would be more than happy to tell them for anyone who would like to hear. While I missed home, it was wonderful to be able to get away for a while, clear your head and rest, not having to worry so much over school and projects. I still looked around for the nearest Green institution, though I couldn't find one. Hmm, I guess it's already pretty green over there anyway.
Once we got back, I stayed with my parents for a while. Daddy managed some time off and was amused that I still couldn't get away from boarding a plane. Some times, it feels like my life is a mixture of plane rides and dirty houses. Maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. So long as my parents are here with me, that's all that really matters to me. We planted some nice roses in our backyard. I wonder if they'll do well. We had a fairly good winter this year, so hopefully, we'll have a good growing season. It was all going well, until my father started reciting Shakespeare. What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Yes, my father is sweet. What can I say? Mom loves it.
It's back to business though at the Z house. Time to get those wheels in motion once again. We all enjoyed our break, and now it's time to get back to work. I did some trash collecting yesterday by the park, by myself, wasn't with any organization or anything. I just happened to be strolling along, saw some trash, picked it up and tossed it. It's really that simply. I'm not one to tell people what they should and shouldn't do, but I believe the person who can't walk a few feet to the trash can or can't wait until they get home to dispose of their materials has poor character. I wouldn't dare go to anyone's house and start throwing my garbage all over the place. Well, the earth doesn't like it either.
And that's my sermon for today. Do with it as you will. Not too bad, huh?
Ciao!
